European Standards (BS ENs)

As a member of CEN and CENELEC, BSI is obliged to adopt all European Standards and to withdraw any national standards that might conflict with them (this is why BSI sometimes change the status of a standard from BS to PD if BSI want to keep it on the market). They are published in the UK as BS EN.
